Jonathan Schwarz

About Me

Jonathan Schwarz is a sound design student currently based in Toronto. He has recently earned a post-grad certificate from the Sound Design and Production program at George Brown, after earning an Advanced Diploma at Humber College for Film and Television Production.

Some recent works include boom operator on Lie Down with Dogs, a crowdfunded short film; and a sound recordist and dialogue editing role on Trashion, a documentary about the environmental problems with throwing away clothes. Jonathan was raised with a passion for writing short stories and being an avid drawer. Through these mediums, he developed a more grounded and realistic approach to the work he does.

He has also worked with Crossfield House Productions, on the film Soap Dish, and with Brainpower Studios on the feature length Christmas on Fifth Avenue. Jonathan is looking forward to leveraging his production sound experience toward future film projects.
